Tiffany Aching

Her name means ‘Land Under Wave’ (Tir-far-thoinn) although her late grandmother, Granny Aching, used to call her ‘jiggit’

She has a light pink face, with brown eyes and brown hair.  Her head might strike anyone watching as being just slightly too big for the rest of her, but perhaps she’ll grow in to it, as we meet her aged nine, eleven, thirteen, not quite sixteen and early adulthood throughout the books.

She wears BIG heavy boots, with several pairs of socks to keep them on, a hand-me-down dress cascading to her ankles and, whatever colour it had been to start with, is now a milky blue.
